Horse Camp

For Students Entering Grades 8-11 | Two-Week Overnight Program

Western and English Riding Available

Campers are fully immersed in the world of horses during this intensive two-week experience. From grooming and feeding to tacking and stable management, campers build essential horsemanship skills. Beginners are supported every step of the way, while experienced riders receive advanced instruction from our knowledgeable staff.

Each camper enjoys at least two guided trail rides across our scenic 67-acre property — a highlight of the program — along with daily small-group riding lessons in either Western or English styles, tailored to their skill level.

Beyond the barn, campers also enjoy daily Free Swim and classic camp activities, creating a fun and balanced experience.

Extreme Tipis

For Students Entering Grades 8-11

An immersive two-week cultural and outdoor living experience.

The Tipi Program is a unique and enriching two-week residential camp experience designed for campers ages 13 to 16. This program offers a deeper connection to nature, community, and cultural traditions by allowing campers to live in authentic tipis, prepare their own meals over an open fire, and engage in hands-on Native American-inspired crafts and programming.

In addition to these special activities, Tipi campers also take part in a wide variety of traditional camp experiences — including swimming, hiking, team games, and challenge courses — providing the perfect blend of adventure and tradition. Living in a close-knit group within the Tipi Village, campers build strong friendships, develop independence, and learn valuable life skills through outdoor living and teamwork.

The Tipi Program is ideal for both returning campers looking for a fresh challenge and new campers seeking a more immersive and community-based camp experience. It fosters leadership, self-reliance, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world — all within the supportive environment of Camp Puh’tok.
